UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverley has said that football supporters heading to Qatar for the men’s football World Cup should be respectful to the host nation and be willing to make compromises.

But how can you respect a nation which has built a tournament off the back of exploited migrant workers; and where people who are LGBT have to compromise their core identity?
